How to Automate Subtasks in ClickUp
Part 1: Creating a Task Template
Go to Client Card
Create a task and then create your desired sub task or sub list then click Save
Then right click the task you just created ➝ Click Template Center ➝ Click Save as Template
Then change status of the task to complete.
Part 2: Creating the sublist automation
Click Automate which can be found on the upper right hand corner of ClickUp
Click Add Automation and copy the following setting:
When Task Created ➝ Then Apply Template ➝ Select the template you created in Part 1 ➝ Click Create
